PURPOSE:To obtain a crosslinkable flame-retarding composition excellent in receptivity of filler, high in crosslinkability and excellent in the strength, heat resistance, etc. of a molding, by mixing a resin formed by mixing two specified ethylene copolymers with a flame retardant at a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:60-99.7wt% copolymer comprising ethylene and 2.5-20mol% unsaturated carboxylic acid (ester) (e.g., ethyl acrylate) or vinyl ester (e.g., vinyl acetate) is mixed with 40-0.3wt% copolymer comprising ethylene, 0.005-2mol% vinyl (meth)acrylate or allyl (meth)acrylate and 0-20mol% unsaturated carboxylic acid (ester) or vinyl ester. 100pts.wt. obtained resin is mixed with 10-200pts.wt. flame retardant (e.g., magnesium hydroxide or tetrabromoethane) to obtain the purpose crosslinkable flame-retarding composition.
