PURPOSE:To display altitude variation and atmospheric pressure variation over a wide range of atmospheric pressure variation by providing a means which discriminates whether or not the altitude variation is caused from the value of atmospheric pressure difference obtained at constant intervals of time and displays the altitude variation on a display device when the variation occurs or the direction of the atmospheric pressure variation on the display device when not. CONSTITUTION:The pressure detection signal of a pressure sensor 10 is passed through an amplifier 11 and digitized by the A/D converter 13 in a microcomputer 12, and the digital signal is supplied to a CPU 14. A temperature detection signal outputted by a thermistor 15 is also digitized by the A/D converter 13 and supplied to the CPU 14. The CPU 14 executes a program stored in a ROM 16 and outputs a rotary driving signal. This signal is supplied to a stepping motor through a driver 20. The rotation of the motor 21 is passed through a gear train 22 to deflects the pointer of a barometer 23 and an altitude meter 24. Further, a display driving signal outputted by the CPU 14 is supplied to the display device 26 through a driver 25 and the display device 26 illuminates for displaying. |
