摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent excessive torque from acting on a center differential device by removing the differential restriction of a center differential device by means of a differential control device and switching over to a two-wheel drive condition when a parking brake is operated during traveling. CONSTITUTION:During the travel of a vehicle, whether a parking brake is operated is judged by a control device 45 and, when judged yes, it is judged next whether a vehicle speed V is larger than a previously set vehicle speed. Here, when judged yes, it is judged whether differential control is under way by detecting whether a differential control clutch 21 in a center differential device 10 is in an actually engaged condition, and the like. And, when the differential control is under way, a control valve in a hydraulic control device 22 is switched over and pressure oil in the chamber of a hydraulic servo device is discharged to release the differential control clutch 21, thereby, allowing the free rotation of a front wheel driving shaft 17 side member.
