PURPOSE:To prevent thermal deformation with a simple structure by constituting a radiation heat transfer promoting plate to be installed in a gas of the heating device for heating by utilizing the radiation of a high-temperature gas such as a combustion gas or the like, of a plurality of thin and long plates arranged in a zigzag manner. CONSTITUTION:As a radiation heat transfer promoting plate to be installed at the intermediate of the row of a group of pipes 2 to be heated in a chemical industry furnace or the like, radiation heat transfer promoting plate strips 1 are arranged in a zigzag manner so that they are rectangular or parallel with respect to a gaseous flow 3. Thus, by forming the radiation heat transfer promoting plate into strips, the plate can be manufactured at low cost and expenses for bending forming become unnecessary. Further, the thermal deformation can be prevented and the radiation heat transfer promotion effect can be improved.
