PURPOSE:To precisely recognize parts while a screen is automatically moved by determining the moving amount of the screen so that a feature part positioned at the end can remain on a next screen and recognizing a feature part on the next screen with the feature part at the end of the previous screen as a reference. CONSTITUTION:If it is previously decided that the screen is moved clockwise around the center of an IC part, a lead 3 at the end of the moving direction of the screen A points upward, thereby setting the moving direction of the screen clockwise. Since the moving amount is set so that the lead 3 at the end can remain on the next screen, the screen is moved to attain the screen B. With the lead 3 as a reference, the positions and shapes of other leads 4-7 are recognized on the screen B. In such a way the lead at the end of the previous screen remains on the next screen, and the positions of the other leads are recognized with the remaining lead as a reference. Hence, goods are never mistakenly recognized even if the actual move of the screen deviates from a set one due to errors of mechanical move and errors in digital image processing. |
