发明名称 JOINING METHOD FOR FRESH DOUBLE DIAPHRAGM
摘要 PURPOSE:To use for electrolysis of an aqueous solution by joining the double layer diaphragms possessing a high current efficiency, low membrane resistance and high mechanical strength, by joining a porous material layer of a specific double layer diaphragm and a heat-meltable fluoroplastic-containing film so that they are piled upon each other. CONSTITUTION:A porous material layer 2 of a diaphragm and a heat-meltable fluoroplastic-containing film are joined to each other so that they are piled upon each other, wherein a double layer diaphragm obtained by laminating the porous material layer 2, whose surface and the inside of a pore possess hydrophilic nature, on at least one surface of an ion exchanger layer 3, whose ion exchange capacity is composed of 0.5-0.2 milli equivallent weights/g resin, is joined to the heat-meltable fluoroplastic containing film 1. The porous material layer is constituted of a porous material made of polytetrafluoroethylene whose hole diameter is 0.01-30mu, porosity is 30-95%, Gurley number is 1-1000 and film thickness is 10-450mum. In addition, the ion exchanger layer is composed of a fluorine-containing polymer layer having sulfonic group and/or carboxylic group and a thickness is 1-300mum.
