PURPOSE:To obtain an adjusting magnetic tape to improve the track linearity by providing a tape pattern arranged sequentially with blocks with 2nd and 3rd signal tracks formed adjacently to them to both sides of a 1st signal track. CONSTITUTION:A timing signal generator 11 gives a 9.048MHz signal to a block counter 13 and a shift register 20. A counter 13 sends count signals of a prescribed number to a ROM 19. A signal data in the unit of 36-word is recorded in the ROM 19 and various signals are obtained by setting a high order address of the ROM. Moreover, a signal from the signal generator 11 is fed to a field counter 14 and a frame counter 15 and a signal corresponding to each count is fed to a ROM 18. A PCM area signal, an automatic tracking finding pattern signal are stored in the ROM 18. Thus, different signal patterns by four-field in the unit of 0.5 block are outputted and up to light kinds of signal patterns are recorded. |
