PURPOSE:To prevent chalk brood disease of honeybee, by tableting trichloroisocyanuric acid under a tableting pressure falling within a specific areal pressure and placing the obtained tablet having a specific bulk density in a beehive in a state contacting with water. CONSTITUTION:A tablet produced by forming trichloroisocyanuric acid under an areal pressure of 300-1,000kg/cm<2> and having a bulk density of 1.3-1.8g/cm<3> is placed in a beehive in a state contacting with water (preferably 1-20g of the tablet is immersed in 50-200ml of water or sprayed with water and placed in a beehive having an inner volume of about 0.04-0.06m<2>) to prevent chalk brood disease of honeybee. The activity lasts over a long period.
