PURPOSE:To obtain a long stroke by means of a cylinder having a short stroke, by increasing the stroke of a shifting body in response to the pitch circle radius ratios of both big and a small pinion gears to the stroke of a cylinder by means of said pinion gears and a pair of racks which engage with said pinion gears. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 4 is contracted to shift both pinion gears 14, 15. Since a rack 16 on the basic frame 1 side engages with a small pinion gear 14, both pinion gears 14, 15 rotate clockwise to lift a shifting body 2 by a distance longer than the stroke of the cylinder 4, by the length of the pitch circle portion covering the predetermined rotational angle. Thereby, the stroke of the shifting body can be longer than the stroke of the cylinder.
