PURPOSE:To decrease the working time of a high pressure plunger pump and to suppress the wear of the plunger and packing thereof by force-feeding a small amt. of a dispersion type liquid only during the discharge without executing the high pressure feed and high speed circulation of a large amt. of the dispersion type liquid at all times. CONSTITUTION:The dispersion type liquid is circulated under a low pressure by a low pressure plunger pump 1 at the time of non-discharge in a circulation circuit 5 for airless coating of the dispersion type liquid. The pump 1 is stopped and a stop valve 4 on a return circuit B is closed at the time of the discharge when the time is set. The high pressure plunger pump 2 is simultaneously operated to increase the pressure of the dispersion type liquid in the circuit between the pump 2 and the valve 4 and the dispersion type liquid increased in pressure is discharged in this state from said circuit via a discharger 3. After the liquid is discharged for the certain time, the pump 2 is stopped and at the same time the valve 4 is opened; again the pump 1 is operated to circulate the low pressure liquid. The dispersion type liquid is intermittently discharged by repeating such operations.
