<p>PURPOSE:To attain efficient timing locking in a short period by applying locking of reception timing at a first half during training and applying transmission timing locking at a latter half. CONSTITUTION:At the start of timing locking of subsidiary synchronization, the frequency of a transmission timing signal generated from a transmission timing generating circuit 2 is fixed and phase error information outputted from a timing extraction circuit 5 is used as the input to a reception timing generating circuit 4 and the delay of the circuit 4 is set to apply phase locking to the received modulation signal. On the way of timing locking, a control signal fixes the delay of the circuit 4 and phase error information outputted from a timing extraction circuit 5 is inputted to the circuit 2 to vary the frequency of the transmission timing signal to apply frequency synchronization. Thus, the locking of the timing is executed in a short period.</p> |
