<p>PURPOSE:To move a cursor by an amount equivalent to the difference of voltage levels between 1st and 2nd memory circuits and to simplify the operation of a cursor signal input device, by storing the first output received from a voltage generator using a variable resistor into the 1st memory circuit as the present position of the cursor display and storing the voltage generated next into the 2nd memory circuit as the voltage value corresponding to a new position. CONSTITUTION:The ribbon controllers 5 and 6 using continuous variable resistors are used to a keyboard 100 of a cursor signal input device. These controllers 5 and 6 produce the signals to move horizontally and vertically a cursor. Then the output signal 50 of the controller 5 is differentiated 7 and signals 70 and 71 of rise and fall points are sampled and held 8 and 9. At the same time, the signal 50 is delayed 7a and applied to the sampling/holding circuits 8 and 9 to delay 13 the signal 71. Then the difference signal is obtained between both signals 70 and 71 sampled/held by a differential amplifier 10. Then a signal 200 is obtained from said difference signal to move the cursor right or left.</p> |
