PURPOSE:To execute efficiently and safely a measurement of a centroid position in the longitudinal direction of an object to be measured such as a flying body homing device, by constituting so that a holder mechanism part and a balancer have the same weight, also a moment load is kept the same on the center line of suspension metallic fittings of a suspension mechanism part by a screw mechanism, and a centroid measuring tool is kept horizontal. CONSTITUTION:A holder mechanism part is constituted by a holder 6, clamping tools 7a, 7b, a long size scale 8, a horizontal degree detector 9, a female right screw 10, a connecting pin 18, a T-shaped bolt 19 and a nut 20. A balancer is constituted with a weight 11 and a female right screw 12, and has the same weight as the holder mechanism part. A suspension mechanism part is constituted of a slider 13, a double-end stud 14, a knob 15, a vernier 16 and suspension metallic fittings 17. When executing a measurement, the end face of an object to be measured 1 is aligned with the right end face of the holder 6, and the object to be measured 1 and a measuring tool are formed as one body to the holder by using a pair of clamping tools 7a, 7b. Subsequently, the suspension metallic fittings 17 are suspended, the both screw bolt 14 is turned by the knob 15, and the center of the suspensiin metallic fittings 17 are shifted. When the double-end stud 14 is turned by the knob 15 until the horizontal degree detector 9 shows a prescribed range, the center line of the suspension metallic fittings 17 and the centroid position of the object to be measured 1 are overlapped. |
