PURPOSE:To obtain a miniaturized high frequency heating apparatus which is strong against any impact from a setting plate by constituting the title apparatus so that the weight thereof is transmitted to a weight detector by a seesaw plate. CONSTITUTION:The weight of a material 2 to be cooked and a setting plate 3 is applied to the shaft 5 of a motor 4. A vertically movable metal fitting 8a to which the motor 4 is fixed descends while horizontally holding the setting plate 3 by means of a Roberval mechanism consisting of a fixing metal fitting 7a and parallel holding metal fitting 9a and 9b, and applies its load using a point where the bottom surface of the motor 4 comes into contact with a seesaw plate 12 as a power point 13, and transmits its load by a moment using a shaft 10e connecting the fixing metal fitting 7a to the seesaw plate 12 as a fulcrum, and using a point where the other end of the seesaw plate 12 comes into contact with a weight detector 11 as a working point 14. Since the impact due to the material 2 to be cooked and the setting plate 3 is transmitted to the weight detector 11 via the weight detector 11, it is not directly applied to the weight detector 11, and hence the high-frequency heating apparatus is strong against the impact. Further, as a construction for the weight measurement, it is sufficient only with the thickness of the Roberval mechanism and the sensor plate, and hence the apparatus can be miniaturized.
