PURPOSE:To prevent the fluctuation of a reproducing output to a recording current by arranging a magnetic core providing the metallic magnetic film of a high Bs at a magnetic gap part so that the I core side of a core can be located in a media travelling direction, in a magnetic head to burying and fixing tightly a said magnetic core at a slip provided at a non-magnetic slider. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic head composed by burying and fixing tightly a magnetic core in the slit provided at the edge part of a non-magnetic slider, the metallic magnetic film of a high saturated magnetic flux density Bs is formed at the I core of a magnetic core or both C and I core and the magnetic core is arranged in the slider so that the I core can be located at the flowing-out edge side of an air flow to between the slider and recording media. Thus, as a magnetic head for recording a high density, sufficient recording can be execut ed, the reproducing output to the recording current is not fluctuated and a magnetic head having a flat part can be obtained.
