PURPOSE:To maintain the temperature of hot water in a bath tub uniformly substantially throughout the tub at a specified temperature by sealing a latent heat accumulating agent in the hollow section of a flat main body which is formed hollow in its inside face by a synthetic resin material or metal steel plate material, and providing in this hollow section a heating means and installing this flat shaped main body in the bottom section of the bath tub. CONSTITUTION:The main body 7 has a dimension to be installed into the bottom section of a bath tub 1 by using a synthetic resin material or steel plate material and has its inner face formed in a hollow section. In the hollow section, a heater 8 for heating and a latent heat accumulating agent 9 are sealed. By the heater 8 the latent heat accumulating agent 9 is heated, and in the area of a relatively low temperature the agent 9 has its temperature raised in the solid state. The latent heat accumulating agent 9 which has its melting point at a temperature near 45 deg.C which is beforehand set and most suitable for bath tub heat insulation is installed, and it is transformed to liquid state at that temperature. During this transformation there is almost no temperature rise and in this region the amount of heat accumulation is very large. The main body 7 is installed at the bottom section of the bath tub 1 and the hot water temperature does not change in the direction of the height of the bath tub 1 and uniform heat insulation temperature is maintained through the bath tub.
