PURPOSE:To improve the heating efficiency of the electric oven by fixing a face heater to the outer side of a heating wall surface of a heating chamber by means of a ceramic bonding agent and disposing a heat insulator on the outer side of the face heater. CONSTITUTION:A face heater 3 is connected and fastened to the outer side of a heating wall surface 2 of a heating chamber 1 by means of a ceramic bonding agent 7, and a heat insulator 6 is disposed on the outer side of a face heater 3. The heater 3 is consistituted by pinching a planar mica material 3a wound by an electric heating wire 3b between other two planar mica materials 3c and 3d in a sandwiched shape. The ceramic bonding agent 7 is pressed into through holes E-G thereby to bond respective planar mica materials 3a, 3c and 3d to each other and to bond and fix them to the wall surface 2. According to this construction, parts of a high thermal conductivity in contact with the face heater 3 are only the wall surface 2 of the heating chamber 1, and the heating efficiency of the heating chamber 1 by the face heater 3 is improved.
