PURPOSE:To perform a breaking and dismantling of the lining of a stack without noise and vibration, and not to hurt the steel plate of a stack body, by inserting specified hollow material in the lining and by injecting a static breaking agent into the hollow material at the time of dismantling of the lining. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of paper tubes 13 are bonded and are fixed in a lining in the vertical direction along the steel plate 10 of a stack body before a dismantling work is performed to a heat insulating lining 11. As for the paper tubes 13, the quality and the thickness of the paper must be determined previously so as not to be crushed at the time of providing the lining, and at the same time, the setting number and positions of paper tubes 13 having to be properly determined beforehand in relation to the effect and description of a static breaking agent, and to the thickness and the strength of a heat insulating lining 11 and an acid resistant lining 12. At the time of dismantling, a vinyl bag 15 is inserted into the paper tubes 13 from the direction of (a). Then water is injected into the bag 15 by hose while the vinyl bag 15 is charged with a static breaking agent 16 from the direction of (a). The static breaking agent 16 reacts on water, expanding, and produces the expansion pressure.
