PURPOSE:To reduce the system capacity of air conditioning equipment by disposing a first heat storage tank as a cold source at a higher position and a second heat storage tank as a hot source at a lower position, and connecting the first heat storage tank and air conditioners, and the air conditioners and the second air conditioner with gravitational heat pipes. CONSTITUTION:A first heat storage tank in the form of an ice heat storage tank 1 as a cold source is disposed at a higher position of a building, while a second heat storage tank in the form of a hot water heat storage tank 2 as a hot source is disposed at a lower position. Air conditioners 3 are disposed between the ice heat storage tank 1 and hot water heat storage tank 2, and a connection is made between the respective heat storage tanks 1, 2 and air conditioners 3 with gravitational heat pipes 4, 5. Refrigerant is circulated through the heat pipes 4, 5. Ice produced in an ice maker 12 is pumped under pressure to the ice heat storage tank 1 by a pump 13. A hot water heat recovery pipe 15 is disposed between the hot water heat storage tank 2 and heat exchanger 14 of a condenser to deliver hot water to the hot water heat storage tank 2 under pressure by a pump 16. Where the heat sources are directly connected to the air conditioners 3, the system capacity of the heat source devices that can handle the peak load can be made smaller by using both the heat sources and the heat storage tanks 1 or 2. |
