CONSTITUTION:The toner 1 is obtained by coating each core particle 5 composed essentially a binder resin 2, a colorant 3, such as carbon black, nigrosine, or Fe3O4 as a black type, and a magnetic material 4, such as known magnetite, hematite, or ferrite, as a compound type; iron or nickel as metal type, or an alloy type, with a resin layer 7 containing photoconductive particles 6 dispersed in it. As a conductivity controlling agent, carbon black, metal powder, metallic fiber, or the like is used. As the resin, a thermoplastic resin, such as a known styrene resin, polyester, polyethylene, aromatic petroleum resin, or chlorinated paraffin, alone or a mixture of some of them, can be used, thus permitting the development of the simultaneous method and transfer to be carried out.
