PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a treasure room in a trunk room, by providing such an arrangement that when a knob on a slider pin is moved toward a stopper part on the trunk room side, the seat back may not be inclined forward on the passenger compartment side. CONSTITUTION:When a knob 28 on a slider pin 29 is moved toward stopper part 26 on the trunk room side, overcoming a spring 30 to be led into a cut-out 32 at the other end of a guide hole 27, the stopper part 26 abuts against the raised surface 27 of a shoulder part 9 of a lock lever 8. Accordingly, even if the strap 10 is pulled on the passenger compartment side, a raised surface 21 is inhibited by the stopper part 26 from moving, and therefore, it is possible to attain the burglar-proof purpose unless the lock of the trunk room is broken. In order to make it possible to incline seat backs forward on the passenger compartment side, the trunk room is opened and the knob 28 is turned to be released from the cut-out, and therefore, it is slid toward the other end 27a by the urging force of the spring 30. Thus, it is possible to form a treasure box in the trunk room.
