PURPOSE:To obtain an instantaneously gelable consolidated matter having high mechanical strength by mixing an aq. acidic water glass soln. with an aq. water glass soln. contg. CaCO3 and/or BaCO3 added thereto and grouting a ground with the mixture. CONSTITUTION:An aq. water glass soln. is mixed with an excess amt. of sulfuric acid while vigorously stirring, thereby preparing an acidic water glass soln. (A) having a pH value of about 1.7. CaCO3 and/or BaCO3 are added to an aq. water glass soln. in a stoichiometrical amt. with the amt. of the above sulfuric acid or more, thereby preparing a suspension (B). The liq. (A) is mixed with the liq. (B) in a wt. ratio of 1:1, and the mixture is grouted into a ground. |
