PURPOSE:To make an aluminum internal chilling piece in good quality with its perfect fusion by breaking the surface oxidized film, by putting an low m.p. aluminum alloy into a mold after its plating on the surface of an iron made piece and pouring a molten aluminum therein. CONSTITUTION:In case of performing an internal chilling of an iron made piece 10 like the rocker arm of an engine, for instance, the low m.p. aluminum alloy whose m.p. is about 530-600 deg.C, e. g., Al-Si alloy or Al-Si-Cu alloy is plated on the surface of the piece 10. This plated piece 10 made of an iron is inputted in a mold, a molten aluminum of about 700 deg.C is poured in for casting, then, the adhesion to the molten metal is made complete by breaking the surface oxidized film of the plated layer with its fusion. Consequently this iron made piece 10 subjected to an internal chilling becomes of good quality without its surface layer peeling.
