PURPOSE:To permit a working space to maintain in the atmospheric environment by a method in which concrete walls are clamped through cushion materials from both sides by projecting supporting arms from a housing supporter by using a working unit device. CONSTITUTION:A working unit device 1 is lifted up by positioning it on the working wall 2, and a housing supporter 8 is positioned at the level of a concrete wall 4. The supporter 8 is advanced toward the wall 4 side, and the supporting arms 10 and 11 of the supporter 8 are positioned on the upside and downside of the concrete wall 4 projected to the water side. Cushion materials are set between each of a jack 12, a supporting plate 13, and the wall 4, and the wall 4 is clamped. Operations for the working wall can thus be performed in the atmospheric environment in the working space formed by the working housing 5.
