A connector (1) has nozzle (2) and collar (5). The nozzle is inserted into hose (3) with clamp (4), connecting them. The clamp has two partial shells (7a, 7b) connected by hinge pin (8), each shell having a retaining flange (10) engaging over the collar and a clamping flange (11) to press hose (3) against nozzle (2). The clamp is operable between open and closed positions by means of tension lever (12) articulated to one shell (7b). Spring (14) connects lever (12) to the other shell (7a). To prevent rotation of clamp (4) in the circumferential direction about the nozzle, annular collar (5) has two radial projections (6) which form a fork accommodating, hinge pin (8) and pass through apertures (9) in the shells.
