PURPOSE:To permit the braking of the title motor by a simple control circuit, by a method wherein electric current, having a phase delaying from the phase of the current under the rotation of a rotor by a predetermined electric angle, is conducted through the stator coils of respective phases. CONSTITUTION:Electric current is supplied from an inverter circuit 29 to the coils 11, 13, 15 of the respective phases of a 3-phase brushless motor. The inverter circuit 20 is provided with PNP transistors 35, 37, 39 and NPN transistors 41, 43, 45 while these transistors are controlled by signals from terminals 65-67, 71-73 through inverters 68-70, 74-76. Upon braking, electric currents, having phases delayed from the phases of currents under the rotation of the rotor by the electric angle of 120 deg., are supplied to the stator coils 11, 13, 15 of respective phases. |
