<p>An inorganic foamed granule comprising 60 wt.% or less of SiO2, 20 wt.% or more of A l 2O3, and 5 wt.% or more of CaO and having a bulk density (i.e., unit weight) in the range of 0.05 to 1.2 kg/ l , which can be prepared by heating an amorphous residue obtained by partial coal oxidation at a temperature of not lower than 600 DEG C, whereby foaming the amorphous residue.</p> |
