PURPOSE:To prevent effects of external disturbance on burners by adjusting the quantity of the raw material to be supplied to the coal crusher by changing the number of ignition burners and also adjusting the number of throats of primary air to be supplied to the crusher by changing the quantity of primary air, in the coal crushers used together with burners. CONSTITUTION:A central control unit 12 determines the number of burners to be stopped in accordance with a load and allots burners to be stopped to respective coal crushers 8. Simultaneously, the rotational speed of a coal supplier 2 is determined by the ratio of the number of ignition burners to the total number of burners, and the coal supplier 2 is controlled by a coal supplier controller 11. Further, the central control unit 12 is operated to actuate a primary air damper 6 so that primary air to the coal crusher 8 is reduced according to the load, and further to actuate an adjusting damper 7 of primary air throat for the coal crusher 8 thereby to adjust the number of throats. By this construction, it is possible to prevent the effect of external disturbance accompanying the stopping of a part of burners. |
