PURPOSE:To improve the performance of a nonaqueous electrolyte cell by using polymer resin as an insulating packing material. CONSTITUTION:A cell container is formed with an outer can 1 concurrently serving as a positive electrode terminal and a sealing cover 2 fitted with an insulating packing 3 made of polymer polyethylene on its periphery and concurrently serving as a negative electrode terminal. A positive electrode 4 using manganese dioxide as an active material is pressed on the inner bottom of the outer can 1, and a negative electrode 5 made of a lithium plate is pressed on the inner bottom of the sealing cover 2. A separator 6 is impregnated with an electrolyte. By using polymer polyethylene as the insulating packing material 3, a nonaqueous electrolyte cell excellent in the storage characteristic end leaktightness performance can be obtained. |
