PURPOSE:Not to use an expensive servo, motor, to constitute an image processing device at low cost and to enlarge the selection width of motors by using a scanning driving system in an open loop system. CONSTITUTION:A rotary speed detection means 8 is provided so as to detect the rotary speed of a motor 21 for driving the scanning system which makes an image sensor of one dimension correlatively move in a subscanning direction. By using the detected result about the rotary speed, a signal level correction means 22 corrects the signal level of picture information based on charges which the image sensor of one dimension accumulates in respective subscanning sections. Namely reading the picture information is not executed with controlling the motor at a certain speed, but the signal level of the picture information is corrected according to the detected result of the rotary speed of the motor. In the section where the subscanning is executed at comparatively low speed, the accumulation quantity of the charges becomes large, so that the signal level becomes high. In this case the correction is executed in order to lower the signal level. |
