To be able to expand switching arrangements step by step without requiring previous work during the basic configuration, a modular structure is desired. Such a structure is not easily possible in triangular matrices which, in contrast to square matrices need only one switching point even for connecting the same type of lines, that is to say e.g. row lines. The object of combining the characteristics of triangular matrices with the requirement for modular structure is achieved by individually allocating N-1 DIVIDED 2=3 switching point contacts (K1 to K21) to each of the N=7 connected lines (E/A1 to E/A7) which form one constructional unit (M1 to M7), the switching point contacts of the individual constructional units being used to connect, in the same fixed order, lines following in the order of the connected lines. <IMAGE> |
