METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EXPOSING SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in the photographic performance of a silver halide photographic sensitive material by drying the photosensitive material then exposing the same at the time of exposing the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photographic sensitive material is dried and is then exposed at the time of exposing said photosensitive material. A drying means for drying the photograph constituting layer of the photosensitive material at the time of the exposing to decrease the moisture contained therein to the equil. moisture at 30 deg.C and 75% RH is provided. A dehumidifying means such as dryer is provided near the exposing position as the drying means or there is a means or the like to keep the device body ventilated at all times to prevent generation of a highly moist atmosphere. Provision of at least such a means for maintaining the section where a magazine contg. the photosensitive material in the moist atmosphere at all times suffices. The deterioration in the photograph performance is thereby obviated and the good image having no uneven images is always obtd.
