PURPOSE:To improve the convenience and utility of the titled copying device by designing the copying machine so as to record its data not only on thermosensing recording paper but also on plain paper thereby contriving multi- functions for the copying device. CONSTITUTION:A light radiated from a light source 20 to an original 23 is reflected from the original 23 and led to an image forming element 21. The image forming element 21 forms the image of a picture on the original 23 to a line image sensor 22 in a ration of 1:1, the image sensor 22 applies photoelectric conversion to the picture in response to the luminous quantity and outputs it as a picture signal. The signal outputted in this way is sent to a control circuit 30 via a buffer amplifier 32, a recording means 36 is controlled by the control circuit 30 and the data is printed on recording paper 38. An ink film is loaded to the equipment between the thermosensing recording paper and a recording head so as to use not only the thermosensing recording paper but also plain paper.
