PURPOSE:To make it possible to enlarge current density in a discharge state by coating a carbon fiber mold with a polymerization catalyst and making it touch a polymerizing aromatic compound so that the compound is polymerized. CONSTITUTION:When a conductive polymer is formed into a carbon fiber mold, first the carbon fiber mold is coated with a polymerization catalyst (a polymerization initiator or a polymerization promotor) so as to obtain adhesion and made to touch a polymerizing aromatic compound, so that the conductive polymer can be formed. Suitable thickness of a carbon fiber is 0.1 nm to 10 nm. The one out of various oxidizers, various cation polymerization catalysts, and radical polymerization catalysts can be selected as the polymerization catalyst used in this process. Hence, an electrode material of the conductive polymer uniformly assembled in the carbon fiber mold can be formed. When this electrode material is used for a battery, a large current can be drawn out with large current density in a discharge state. |
