PURPOSE:To easily adjust a valve opening pressure with no necessity for particular readjustment of a lift amount, by inserting a shim interposing between the head part of a lift adjusting screw and a clock nut which fixes a nozzle body or a valve opening pressure adjusting screw. CONSTITUTION:For instance, when a valve opening pressure setting spring 3 is permanently set in fatigue and desired to be adjusted, a valve opening pressure adjusting screw 4, which is longitudinally moved by a thread for a nozzle body 1 by first loosening or removing a lift amount adjusting screw 5 next a lock nut 14, changes a set load of the spring 3, and the valve opening pressure of a needle valve 2 is adjusted. If this adjustment is finished, the valve opening pressure adjusting screw 4 is fixed by tightening the lock nut 14, and if the lift amount adjusting screw 5 is tightening till it is adapted to a shim 15, the maximum shift amount l is set by height of the shim 15. In this way, the valve opening pressure can be easily adjusted with no necessity for particular readjustment of the lift amount.
