PURPOSE:To enable long-term suppression of internal shorting due to arborescent precipitation of metallic lithium by adding arsenic, antimony, and phosphorus or bithmuth trihalide to non-aqueous electrolytic solution. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of arsenic, antimony, and phosphorus or bithmuth trihalide is added to non-aqueous electrolytic solution. Arsenic, antimony, and phosphorus or bithmuth trihalide added to the non-aqueous electrolytic solution are made to react to a solvent composing electrolytic solution and to form a high-molecular film on a lithium negative electrode. Lithium is dissolved and precipitated through this film by charging and discharging, and so arborescent precipitation of metallic lithium is prevented so as to suppress an occurrence of an internal shorting phenomenon. Moreover, the said effect is continued also in a long-term cycle because this film is not subject to oxidation and reduction and it is stable. |
