<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a DC motor by interrupting the energization of a motor when a rotating direction command does not coincide with the rotating direction of the motor even upon elapsing of the prescribed period. CONSTITUTION:An up-down counter UDCNT outputs a counted value COUNT and a rotating direction signal ROT of the DC motor M in response to the output of an encoder E. When a speed command SC, a position command PC and a position command CTL are inputted through an interface circuit INF to a microcomputer MPU, the microcomputer MPU receives inputs of the counted value COUNT and the rotating direction signal ROT and moves to the instructed position at the instructed speed in the instructed rotating direction. When the command ROTC does not coincide with the actual rotating direction signal ROT for the prescribed period or longer at this time, it is judged as a malfunction, thereby interrupting all drive transistors.</p> |
