摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To eliminate an output error due to the core shift between the first and second revolving members, by providing both members to the connection part of a drive shaft and the elastic shaft of a steering shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a handle is operated, force is transmitted to a wheel steering mechanism through a steering shaft, an elastic shaft 3 and a drive shaft to generate twist displacement in the elastic shaft 3. By this mechanism, relative displacement is generated between the projections 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b of projection members 6, 7 and the opposed members 9a, 9b, 10a, 10b of detection members 9, 10, and minute gaps A-D change. When core shift is present between the first revolving member 5 and the second revolving member, the gaps A-D change so that not only the gaps A, C but also the gaps B, D opposed to each other so as to hold the elastic shaft 3 therebetween increase and decrease by the same interval. Since the synthetic signal of an operation circuit is outputted and the induced voltage of a detection coil 12a and that of a detection coil 12b are differentially operated in this state, said induced voltages due to core shift are negated and an output signal free from an output error due to the core shift between the first and second revolving members can be obtained.</p>
