<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform pump output regulation simply according to pipe resistance when the pipe resistance is given. <P>SOLUTION: A pump device is provided in the middle of a circulation path having predetermined pipe resistance to circulate fluid. The pump device includes: a pipe resistance detection unit 1 configured to detect pipe resistance in a circulation path; a motor voltage instruction unit 2a for instructing and outputting, to a motor voltage control unit, an output signal corresponding to the detected pipe resistance with output signals set in advance correspondingly to a plurality of values of the prescribed pipe resistance; and a duty ratio instruction unit 2b for instructing and outputting a duty ratio corresponding to the detected pipe resistance with duty ratios set in advance correspondingly to the plurality of values of prescribed pipe resistance.
