PURPOSE:To confirm the normality of a switch forming each channel in a spatial split switch by comparing a signal at an outgoing terminal of a selected channel with an input signal via other path and detecting the coincidence of both inputs. CONSTITUTION:The spatial split switch 2 connecting plural inputs and outputs selectively in response to a control signal is provided with an input application means 11 and a comparator means 5. An input is applied to an optional input terminal by the input application means 11 and the comparison means 5 compares the signal at the outgoing terminal of the selected channel of the spatial split switch 2 with the input signal via the other path to discriminate the propriety of the continuity of each channel by the spatial split switch 2 depending on the coincidence of both the inputs to the comparator means 5. Thus, the normality of the switch forming each channel in the spatial split switch 2 is tested actually.
