PURPOSE:To relive the load of the operator by calculating an orbit of a satellite based on orbit information, comparing an updating the orbit by the calculation based on the newest information from a reception section and tracing an antenna while being directed to the satellite and automating from the reception of JMG to the input of orbit information. CONSTITUTION:A 1st reception section 2 receiving and demodulating the orbit information of a satellite and outputting the demodulated orbit information sequentially, a means 34 storing the orbit information, a 1st orbit calculation means 32 calculating the orbit of the satellite and outputting a 1st calculation result based on the information, a 2nd orbit calculation means calculating the orbit based on the newest orbit information of the 1st reception section 2 and outputting the 2nd calculation result, a comparison and updata means 33 updating the storage information from the result of calculation, a means directing an antenna 4 to the satellite to trace the satellite and the 2nd reception section 5 receiving a meteorological satellite signal sent from the satellite via the antenna 4, are provided. Thus, the processing from the reception of the JMG (Japan meteorological agency international meteorological radio information) till the input of the orbit of the satellite thereby relieving the load of the operator.
