ELECTROSTATIC RECORDING BODY

PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic recording body of an all-weather type having small dependency on humidity by impregnating a specific conductive metal oxide into paper which is a conductive base body. CONSTITUTION:This electrostatic recording body is constituted by using a base imparted with an electrically conductive property by impregnating the conductive metal oxide in the paper by a sizing press at the time of paper manufacture and/or coating machine of another stage. The sections of all the oxide particles are required to be <=0.5mum in (major axis mumX minor axis mum)<1/2> as such conductive metal oxide. The paper having <=100sec air permeabil ity is preferably used as the paper to be used as the base body in order to permit easy impregnation of the oxide particles therein. An impregnating liquid has preferably <=300cps viscosity so as to be easily penetrated into the paper. The electrostatic recording body with which the image having a satisfactory density is obtainable is thereby obtd. without being affected by environment.
