PURPOSE:To suppress the lift of the non-separation side of a sheet material and to obtain an image of high quality free from disturbance or missing even at the rear end of a sheet by inclining the shafts of carrying rolls from the shaft of a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The shafts of the carrying rolls 18a, 19a are inclined from the shaft of the photosensitive drum 10 respectively by prescribed angles. The roll 18a delivers the sheet material P to the separation side and the roll 19a delivers the sheet material P to the non-separation side. Rotational moment A is applied to the sheet material P in accordance with the difference of the rolls 18a, 19a in the carrying directions and the moment A acts as pressing force for pressing the depth side of the separation part of the sheet material P against a separation board 17c because the sheet material P is restricted by separation rolls 17a, 17b on the upstream side in the sheet carrying direction. Since the rear end of the sheet material P is carried along the separation board 17c and a carrying guide 18c, an unfixed image transferred to the sheet P is not disturbed even at the rear end of the sheet material P and transfer missing also is not generated.
