PURPOSE:To prevent the annihilating of trace information due to the power source shut-off by registering instantaneously the trace information accumulated at an area temporarily at the time of starting a power source shut-off control, into an external storage device. CONSTITUTION:A power source control device 30 performs the power source input shut-off control of a computer system as a whole by a power source control part 32. In the input shut-off action, the power source input instruction or the power source shut-off instruction of respective devices in the computer system is sent through a driving part 31 to a serial control bus 43 and the response from respective devices in the system is monitored. At this time, a power source control condition reporting part 33 reports the starting of a power source shut-off control through a bus 42 prior to the sending of the power source shut-off instruction to a service processor 20. When a power source control condition receiving part 24 of the processor 20 receives the power source shut-off starting report given from the power source control device 30 through the bus 43 and the part informs a trace information accumulating control part 22 of the starting of the power source shut-off control. In this case, an accumulating control part 22 registers immediately the contents of the area itself to a recording device 23.
