PURPOSE:To reproduce proper images of different originals by detecting mixed different original areas and properly controlling corresponding image forming means. CONSTITUTION:Originals 1 are scanned by exposure through a scanning system consisting of a hologen lamp 3 and a mirror 4, the original information is inputted to a CCD 6 through a contraction lens 5 and a controller 9 determines the coordinates of respective areas in mixed normal originals, newspaper originals and photographic originals in accordance with the original information obtained though an A/D converter 8. The light quantity of the lamp 3, the lighting period of a blank exposure 17 and a bias voltage to a developing sleeve 18 are properly controlled in accordance with the normal originals and latent images other than the one corresponding to the normal original out of latent images formed on a photosensitive body 10 are erased, and the residual latent image is properly developed and transferred to copy paper. The images of the newspapers, photographic originals, etc., are similarly formed by a 2nd and 3rd multiple copying. Thus, the image of the mixed different kinds of originals can be properly formed. |
