PURPOSE:To form a space around the resonance electrode of a piezoelectric element by vertically sandwiching the piezoelectric element with alumina ceramic plates and applying an adhesive to a side adjoining to the piezoelectric element, leaving a part adjoining to the resonance electrode uncoated. CONSTITUTION:The resonance electrode 5 is provided to face the both sides of the piezoelectric ceramic plate 4. External electrodes 7b leading to the resonance electrode 5 are provided on the both sides of the piezoelectric ceramic plate 4 to constitute the piezoelectric element 7a. The piezoelectric element 7a is vertically sandwiched with the alumina ceramic plates 1a and 1b equipped with electrodes on both sides which are in shape the same as the piezoelectric element 7a and which match with the external electrode 7b, and the adhesive is applied to the surface on the side facing the piezoelectric clement 7a of the alumina ceramic plates 1a and 1b, leaving the part facing the resonance electrode 5 uncoated. Without a low melting point substance, the space can be formed around the resonance electrode 5 of the piezoelectric element 7a.
