<p>PURPOSE:To make a rolling mill capable of performing an excellent sheet thickness control by previously calculating set-up values for both of an oiling state and a dry state and changing the set-up values in accordance with the on-off of oiling during rolling. CONSTITUTION:A rolling mill consisting of plural stands is provided with a device 2 for deciding a draft schedule basing on the previously given rolling specifications, a device 3 for calculating the number of revolutions of a roll, a device 4 for calculating a rolling load, and a device 5 for calculating a draft position. The mill is constituted so as to output the previously calculated set- up values by changing them in accordance with the on-off of the supply of a rolling-mill-oil during rolling, after calculating respectively the rolling load and the draft position at both of an oiling state and a dry state by the devices 5, 4.</p> |
