PURPOSE:To continuously manufacture lithium electrodes by controlling punching speed of a punch. CONSTITUTION:When a lithium sheet 4 is fed to a punching position, feeding of the lithium sheet is stopped and a punch 1 is lowered by an air cylinder 9 and lithium is punched. When moving speed passing through lithium of the punch, or speed at which the cutting edge of the punch moves from the upper end to the lower end of lithium is controlled to 3mm./sec, adhesion of lithium to the cutting edge of the punch is prevented. If the angle alpha of the cutting edge of the punch is 15-30 deg. toward the outside, and the cutting edge has mirror finished surface, continuous production of 500,000 or more is provided. |
