PURPOSE:To improve the density of recording by providing rugged parts in response to a recording band and an information signal by magneto-optical recording and forming alternately said band and a recording band by boring recording for recording information in the radial direction of a disk thereby increasing the range of the recording band capable of recording information. CONSTITUTION:A recording area 3 recording information is provided onto a recording film 4 provided onto a disk 5 of an optical disk. Moreover, the recording band 1 by magneto-optical recording and the recording band 2 by boring recording are formed alternately in the recording area 3 in the radial direction. The magneto-optical recording and the boring recording are adopted to be different and even if laser light for the magneto-optical recording strikes on the recorded part of the boring recording, no effect is given to the recorded information. Then the recording band range capable of recording information is increased to enhance the recording density of information. |
