摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the correct and stabilized function by releasing a latch first when the deceleration speed over a prescribed value is generated and an engaging lever is turned to the position exceeding a supporting point boundary line and operating an air bag device by opening a valve. CONSTITUTION:When an automobile receives a shock because of a collision, a pendulum 12 having a pivotal shaft 13 for supporting an engaging lever 11 onto a supporting frame 7, as common pivotal shaft, is swung in the direction of arrow. When the deceleration speed becomes over a prescribed value, the lower groove 11a formed on the engaging lever 11 intrudes to the left side, exceeding over a dead center boundary cock P connecting the upper groove 10a formed on a latch lever 10 and the fulcrum O of the engaging lever 11, and the operation force vector of the latch lever 10 due to a supporting piece 16 changes, and the engaging lever 11 is turned counterclockwise. Therefore, the engagement of the engaging lever 11 is released to release the latch, and a slidable movable body 8 pushing-opens a spherical valve 3 through a pushing rod 5 by a spring 9, and the high pressure gas is supplied into an air bag from an effluence port 4, and the air bag is momentarily expanded.
